Are the DEXTER books any good? I know the show is based on them, but do they add anything to what I’m getting from the show?

Maybe the Nook isn’t TOO bad - I’m just bitter because I ordered my new Kindle2 yesterday. I will make my ebooks avail on both, no worries.
The B&N Nook also has a ‘lend to a friend’ feature that raises my eyebrow.
The B&N NOOK doesn’t do it for me. Have to be IN a B&N to browse their ebook store on wifi? Hm. I also predict split/color screen problems.
